This scandi-inspired nook features the "Repos" hanging chair from Newell furniture; wall paint is "Blackjack" from Benjamin Moore, and IKEA floating shelves coated blackjack, in a matte black finish. To complete the scandinavian theme, the featured bullhead is via Bouclair maison.

To transform this look into something more festive, I was inspired by Pinterest to create a rustic holiday arrangement, featuring faux silver poinsettias, and real birchwood, combined with silvery branch accents to give the feel of a white Christmas. Birchwood and silver branch arrangement can be found at Home Depot; ornaments, silver poinsettias,

holly branches and metal pail from the neighborhood Dollarama.

Lastly the space wouldn't be Christmas without a tree. Given the limited wall space, I used my existing artifical potted greenery and added inexpensive LED lights, silvery and gold ornaments, and topped with a wicker star. Simply add chalkboard and metallic lettered stickers to transform this ordinary everyday coffee table centrepiece, into a chic miniature tree that fits perfectly for this space. The beauty is that these decorations post-season can be easily deconstructed and returned back to its original form.
